Continental Hotel Lausanne

Conveniently located near transport, breakfast options excellent.

You cannot get a better locate hotel any where. My family was recommended to stay at another Hotel. We decided based on the location of Continental Hotel Lausanne to stay at this amazing place.If anyone reading this note makes the decision to stay somewhere else, do not make the mistake. This place ticks all the boxes. It is unbelievabl clean, spacious, has all necessary comforts to make your time in Lausanne memorable.I Will be back today. Thanks Continental Hotel you are great!

Loved how the economy double room was arranged when we arrived. The hotel had marvellous and lovely location close enough to the front staff very helpfull and the mountains beyond. It also was in the center of the city.

The Continental Hotel is a gem for travelers! Being directly across from Lausanne Gare means no more lugging heavy bags uphill. Plus, they offer a free public transportation pass for effortless city exploring. The staff's warmth, especially from Lyon at reception, adds a personal touch that makes all the difference.

Rooms could use a facelift.

Very close to train station / Metro and restaurants.

Aircon was not functioning well and it was quite hot in the rooms. It was same case in another 2-3 rooms where my colleagues were staying asw well. When we explain to reception/staff, either they didnt understand or knew about it but couldnt do anything.

The location is perfect and the staff was excellent.

Some serious issues dent the experience. Trouble can hit you hard at midnight if you lack local currency, leaving you fumbling for change or dealing with unexpected stress. While the room is comfortable, two beds and a sofa are misleadingly marketed as three beds, proving to be quite inconvenient for a group stay.

The rooms are very clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Its location is very good because it's just next to the train station and bus stops. The breakfast is quite good.

Location is just in front of train station. Hotel furnishing is really good given the price paid. Best there is a good Chinese restaurant serving good dishes just downstairs.

Location was great for us, being opposite the rail station and having heavy suitcases was ideal for us. The hotel is clean and friendly and the breakfast is good.

We loved our stay at Continental Hotel Lausanne. The proximity to all forms of transport plus the free ticket given by the Hotel was so convenient. The view of the mountains from our room was just lovely. It was peaceful and yet it was in the hub! The breakfast was excellent with so many choices. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable and as we were visiting family we will stay at this Hotel again.

Perhaps tea/coffee facilities in the room!

Convenient location with a touch of charm

The hotel's prime location right across from the train station allowed for easy access to public transportation. The staff went out of their way, even lending us towels for a day trip after checkout.

The room felt smaller than expected, and while the street noise was manageable, the air conditioning didn't seem to work well, impacting our comfort at night.

Location! Right across from the station!! And we always come to Lausanne by train. Also, a lovely room with view of the lake, very nice bathroom and good soft pillows on the bed. The breakfast room is so cheerful and the staff very helpful. Food was delicious. The front desk staff was helpful too. We stayed here because of the price, which was lower than where we had stayed in Lausanne before, but now we will always stay at the Continental.

Location: the hotel was close enough to easy access to Metro downtown, the supermarket near the rail station which is open from about 5:30 to midnight most days, and a bakery which allows for breakfast on the go right out of the door. I visited Restaurant a L'etage, based not very far from the venue, had dinner there. I had the continental breakfast with various selections.
